Elpidio Rivera Quirino
Elpidio Rivera Quirino, the sixth President of the Philippines. He was born on the 16th of November year 1890. His father, Don Mariano Quebral Quirino was a provincial jail warden and his mother is Dona Gregoria Mendoza Rivera de Quirino.
He received his first schooling from his parents then he enrolled in a private school to study english grammar.
Then later, he transferred school to Aringay Elementary School and then he studied at a Provincial School at San Fernando La Union.
And he studied at Manila High School, and he then obtained his law degree from the University of the Philippines. And after that he work at the Philippine Commission as a law clerk. Then later, he work as the secretary of President Manuel Quezon.
Elpidio Rivera Quirino is really a remarkable President of our country. He faced many obstacles firth before becoming the President of the Philippines.
You can really feel and see his passion to help his country. He had contributed a lot for our country when he was still the President. But many people don't see it.
But his efforts and contributions are enough to make him a good leader of our country. He might not be the greatest president for all, but he has deeply made the heart of all Ilocanos proud.
