Are you wondering why is it so hot right now? Instead of having cold breezes because we're to the end of this year now? And why do typhoons only just strike this time of the year?The answer is, it's because of climate change. Climate change have really planted a big impact on south-east asian countries including us the Philippines. But because of our resiliency, we overgrown the impacts and possible effects of climate change. But how do we keep ourself on the positive side?
These past few weeks, six consecutive typhoons has strangely strikes us and we believe that the cause of it is climate change. Normally, we experience rainy season on the end of May to July but now we experience it on the end of October to the end of November. And it can be seen and explained that our climate is changing.
There were many lives who were affected it includes us students, our classes were disrupted because of the consecutive typhoons. Many establishments were closed, and many employees can't go to work. To add more, a lot of people especially on Cagayan whose house were flooded and they were instructed to evacuate. But amidst all of these consecutive typhoons, there are still people who aren't giving up,protecting their belongings and their lives, and that's called being Matatag or being resilient. Imagine how tough can we be? Even the six consecutive typhoons can not stop us?
This consecutive typhoons really proves that we Filipinos don't easily give up and we stay unaffected to the tough challenges in life. We might seem weak for other countries but it's the opposite of what they see Even if we experience many problems we will get over it quickly. Thanks to calamities that we have experienced, we became more tough and resilient. This shows that our country is not weak but it also shows that our country is filled with great and powerful minds and strong personalities.
